The Hermitage Academy was founded in 2009. It is to be affiliated to CBSE, which is the largest Educational Board in the country. The medium of instruction for all classes in this school is English. Nevertheless, Hindi being the national language, it is given equal emphasis.
Our team of highly experienced and dynamic teachers believes in imparting knowledge to the best unconventional way. Our academic efforts, along with a range of extracurricular activities, help in improving a child's skills and ensuring that he/she grows to be a mature and responsible citizen.
The Hermitage Academy was established in the year of 2009 to provide quality education to the children of Nathuwawala Village of Dehradun District. We provides an atmosphere where the child is given more importance and child centered education is provided. We believe that students must value and respect the culture and traditions of the people and various societies living in our country India...
Aim & Objective of the school:
The school aims to develop self-confidence in each student; to teach adaptability and problem solving skills; to face changes which are vital elements of emerging globalism and to develop good personal traits which include a strong work ethic, self-discipline, sportsmanship and self-esteem.

Although English is the main medium of instruction, Hindi studies are essential elements within the curriculum and the social context of the school. The School encourages students to learn their mother tongue along with English.
